CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Flow/Storative Yoga
Flow/Storative Yoga offers a wonderful blend of rejuvenating movement and restful practices. The first half of class will flow at a gentle pace to coordinate breath and movement while awakening your strength and flexibility with sun salutations and standing postures. The second part of class will combine floor postures, meditation practices, and guided relaxation to enhance qualities of comfort and calm. Flow/Storative is your invitation to restore the flow of your day. Come as you are β all humans are welcome.
Recommended props for Flow/Storative Yoga: Yoga mat, 2 blocks, 1 β 2 blankets, 1 strap.
Restorative Yoga
This gentle practice is the perfect way to unwind and give yourself the time for comfort, connection, and contentment. Restorative postures use a lot of props (blankets, bolsters, blocks) so you feel supported in each shape as you release muscular and mental tension. You will leave relaxed and feeling like youβve truly given back to your body.
Yoga in the Garden
Connect with nature, rejuvenate energy, and experience relaxation through yoga. The beauty and serenity of the garden setting provides the perfect environment to stretch, strengthen, center, breathe, and relax. All skill levels are welcome.
Vinyasa Yoga
Flow, breathe, and embody the pulse of play! The dynamic class accessibly and creatively sequences sun salutations with standing, balancing, and floor postures to enhance the harmony of steadiness and ease in the BodyMind. Breathing practices (pranayama) and deep relaxation are included to further the benefits of your yoga practice . All levels welcome.
Yoga/Tone
Our bodies thrive when we offer multiple ways to enhance strength, flexibility, mobility, and resiliency. In the Yoga/Tone class, you will experience a fun flow of Sun Salutations and yoga postures, along with muscle-toning exercises using light weights and resistance bands. The practices will be accessible and adaptable for all levels of participants.
Moonbow Class and Health Policies
Moonbow Yoga & Wellness is committed to your comfort and well-being while attending classes.
Arrive 5 β 10 minutes early
Moonbow Heidi knows the feeling of running late! LOL! No need to start your yoga time with extra anxiousness. Arrive a little early so you have time to set up your mat/props and get a head start on you-time.
Care for Props
Props are available at most yoga studios, except for WV Botanic Garden. If you plan to bring your own props, I recommend 2 blocks and 1 blanket. Cleaning wipes/sprays will be available so that you can wipe down any props used during class.
If you feel sick, please stay home.
To help protect the well-being of our community, please plan to stay home if you have even the slightest of symptoms. Moonbow Heidi will do the same.
Cancel if you canβt come to class
If you are unable to attend class, please cancel online or DM Heidi at least 1 hour before class start time. If you cancel in less than that time frame β or if you do not show up for class, you may still be charged for class (per each studioβs policy). If class needs to be canceled due to weather or health concern, pre-registered students will be notified ASAP and announcements will be made on social media.
