In the Groundwork Restorative Yoga Training, you will be guided into a clear understanding of the heightened need for more rest, less stress. You will acquire practical tools for creating a well-rounded restorative practice and confidently lay the groundwork where optimum health, inner peace and joy can thrive. The training also provides yoga teachers, health professionals, and individuals in other fields many resources and methods to best integrate restoratives into group settings and/or one-on-one sessions.

Got back pain? Then how about experiencing a yoga practice that will get you back in action and help you shift from “Ooh, Ahh, Ow!” to “Ooh, Ahh, WOW!”
Join Heidi for an hour yoga class that will place attention and care on your spine, especially in the hot-zones of the thoracic and lumbar regions. The alignment-based practice will creatively integrate postures and sequences that can easily be explored in your day-to-day life, both on and off the yoga mat. Breathing and relaxation techniques will also be incorporated to boost your WOW-power. You will leave class with a deeper understanding of ways to soothe back pain and move with more ease, ultimately inviting you to thrive comfortably in body, mind, and spirit.

Start each day overlooking the awe-inspiring ocean and Cliffs of Moher while Heidi guides you through a heart-centered meditation and an energizing Hatha Flow yoga practice. Afternoons will include opportunities to quietly relax at the center, rejuvenate at the spa, or adventure around the Co. Clare countryside. Learn self-care practices, mantras, and mudras to nurture the keys of creative flow, both on and off the mat. Gourmet vegetarian cuisine will delight the palate at every meal. End each day with the key to deep relaxation during Heidi’s signature restorative yoga class, which incorporates gentle flowing and restorative postures, pranayama, and aromatherapy.

The Moonbow Yoga & Wellness 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training program offers a holistic mind/body approach to practicing and teaching yoga. The curriculum combines the ancient wisdom of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras and the 8 Limbs of Yoga, with the importance of daily self-care, emotional connectivity and creative exploration. Students will evolve into the role of teacher through dedicated self-study, group work, community teaching, and supportive mentorship.
