In this workshop, Heidi Sherwin will breakdown the art and science of sequencing and offer helpful guidelines so you can start sequencing your own creative classes or home practice. We will discuss when and where to place certain postures, as well as how to transition safely between families of postures. We will also explore how everything matters within the arc of a class, from initiating the yoga experience, flowing through the practice, integrating breathing and mindfulness techniques, and rejuvenating with deep relaxation. This workshop will boost your personal practice and leave you with new skills to integrate on the teacher mat!
Knowledge of yoga and the effects of basic yoga poses recommended. Please bring a journal and pen/pencil.
