Learn how to AMPLIFY your ability to successfully welcome pregnant students into your general group yoga classes. Heidi is ready to help you expand your teaching tool-kit, while sharing from the heart of her personal experience, which includes 10 years of teaching prenatal yoga and 5 years of Doula service. The workshop is open to current yoga teachers or newly pregnant women that have a regular yoga practice and wish to safely continue it throughout pregnancy. In this 90-minute workshop, learn about the 7 major chakras, or energy centers, which correlate with areas along the spine. Each chakra has individual characteristics and functions that associate with aspects of the nervous system and physical body. Heidi has been studying and teaching about the chakras for over 10 years and looks forward to sharing how the chakra system can shine light on one’s overall physical, mental, and emotional well-being. The class will include purposeful postures, breathwork, and meditation practices designed to tune into and balance each of the 7 major chakras, ultimately restoring one’s energy to a state of radiant health and bliss.
